ProKey Boost Day

An appointment to give a boost to their progress

Sunday, November 29, 2026 · 11:45 AM–2:15 PM · PostFinance Arena, Bern

A warm-up, two ice sessions, theory, and stickhandling: the ProKey Boost Day is a full day of targeted training with ProKeyCoach instructors. The goal is for every player to walk away with concrete progress and clear reference points for the rest of their season.

Why a Boost Day?

In club training, the focus is on the team, which is essential. The Boost Day comes as a supplement: it is a full day focused on the individual development of the player.

Our approach is based on a simple principle: each player has their own natural way of moving and skating. Rather than imposing a single model, we help them get the best out of their style.

On the agenda

11:45 AM · Welcome and warm-up
Arrival at the rink, getting in touch with the coaches, and preparing the body for effort.

12:00 PM–12:45 PM · Ice 1
Skating, technique, and stick handling: we lay the foundations.

12:45 PM–1:00 PM · Short break
We recover and hydrate.

1:00 PM–1:45 PM · Ice 2
We revisit the points from the first ice and put them into game situations, with more intensity.

14h00–14h30 · Théorie & stickhandling
Un moment pour comprendre le « pourquoi » avec une session Basic Hockey IQ, puis du travail des mains sur le bitume.

2:15 PM · End

What your child gains from it

  • Two ice sessions in a single day, led by coaches who specialize in individual development.
  • Concrete feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement
  • The basics of game reading, explained simply
  • Ideas for exercises to do independently
  • An intense moment, surrounded by motivated players

For whom?

The ProKey Boost Day is aimed at players aged 10 to 14, whether they are ProKeyCoach members or not.

  • Elite Prep, Silver, and Gold members: included in your package
  • Bronze members: CHF 150.–
  • Non-members: CHF 200.–

Is your child not a member yet? Boost Day is the best way to discover our way of working, on the ice, before you commit.

To take with you

  • Complete hockey equipment, with a stick for the ice
  • A second stick for stickhandling on the pavement: take one that can get damaged
  • Sports outfit and sneakers for warm-up
  • A water bottle

Who are we?

ProKeyCoach has been supporting players in their development since 2016. Benoît Pont founded it: he is a former LNA player (over 600 games) and today is the assistant coach of the Swiss national team. We work in complement to the club, never in its place.

"ProKeyCoach's approach teaches me hockey secrets." (Nino Niederreiter)
